Donations are accepted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
First Light relies on donations of breakfast items, cleaning supplies, medicines, and more to serve our guests daily. You can help by hosting a supply drive at your church, office, or community group. Get creative—organize drives around fun themes like National Dentist Day or National Laundry Week, or host a housewarming party for a guest moving into permanent housing.
These essential items help women transition from shelter into stable, independent living. Many are starting over with only the belongings they had while in shelter. Your generosity provides comfort, dignity, and the basic household necessities needed to begin this new chapter with confidence and hope. Donations may also be dropped off at the shelter, and we gladly accept gently used housing items as well.
